Hunt For The Decepticons voyager Sea Spray and scout Breacher

This is gonna be a slightly bigger than usual post. We have scout class Breacher and voyager class Sea Spray, both from Transformers Hunt For The Decepticons toyline. Reason I'm throwing them into one post is because they're designed to work with each other but we'll get to that later. As you can see, they are very different in design style so it's interesting that they are part of the same toyline.

First one we'll get to is Sea Spray. Guy has a definite scuba diver motif going on with his robot mode complete with flippers and other scuba gear inspired elements. His guns shoot harpoon style missiles but I can't find them at the moment so you'll have to use your imagination. :P

Back view. He's even got the air tank thing going on.

Hovercraft mode.

Rear view. And this is where we get the hint of how SS and Breacher go together.

Let's move on to Breacher. Unlike SS, Breacher has a very Super Robot styled face, making him look like he belongs to a different series altogether. The rest of his body is also much more movie-styled compared to SS.

Back view. Looks good in the front, not so much in the back.

Breacher transforms into an amphibious APC with a gun turret mounted on top. The turrent can turn too.

Our lovely duo in vehicle mode.

As you may have guessed by now Breacher goes right onto SS.

As you may expect, it's pretty much a perfect fit.

The piece of flap at the end can be lowered by it touches the bottom at a 90 degree angle so you can't quite pull a convincing loading and unloading of Breacher. Maybe unloading since the platform doesn't really have to touch the ground but loading's gonna look silly.

As you can imagine, you can fit certain other scout and legion class vehicle modes. Here we have legion class Bulkhead from TF Prime.

So that's it. Yeah other than that they can kinda dock in vehicle mode, they don't really have much in common. I like Sea Spray due to his campy look and solidly built toy but Breacher not so much since he's rather delicate despite that Super Robot face.

A few people might recall I was going to review some stuff I was going to junk maybe 2-3 months ago. I still went through the box but I didn't bother with the reviews because it was junk; why am I wasting time reviewing stuff I don't want? So that's the end of that. I'll still review the occasional stuff I might junk but definitely focusing much more on stuff I find interesting.

edit 8/2: I just realized the right side propeller pod is reversed in vehicle mode! orz The left side reflects the correct orientation.
